That’s why we’ve partnered with the Queenstown Writers Festival to be a sponsor for the 2025 event. With our roots firmly entrenched in award-winning journalism and quality digital storytelling, we’re proud to support a festival that celebrates the written word in all its forms – from memoirs and fiction to poetry, journalism and illustration.
The Queenstown Writers Festival, which runs from October 30 to November 3, is a vibrant celebration of Aotearoa’s literary talent. With a diverse programme of author talks, workshops, panels and performances, it brings together novelists, historians, illustrators, editors, critics and more to share their craft with an engaged and curious audience.
Our support of the festival isn’t just about sponsorship – it’s about shared values. Both Scope and the Queenstown Writers Festival are built on the belief that stories matter. Whether it’s helping a brand find its voice or giving a platform to emerging authors, we’re in the business of amplifying narratives that deserve to be heard.
One of the standout events this year is Life at a Million Miles, featuring beloved Kiwi media personality Brodie Kane. Scope’s managing director Celia Crosbie will be joining Brodie on stage at Te Atamira Whakaari on Sunday November 3, for a kōrero that promises to be lively, honest and full of heart. We’ll be diving into her 17 years in broadcasting, her adventures around the globe, and her bold leap into launching her own media business. Brodie’s energy and authenticity are magnetic, and we’re thrilled to help share her story with the festival audience.
Scope’s involvement in the Queenstown Writers Festival reflects our commitment to supporting the arts, fostering community, and championing storytelling in all its forms. We’re excited to be part of a festival that celebrates creativity, connection and the joy of a well-told tale.
Ngā mihi nui to the festival organisers, volunteers, patrons and fellow sponsors who make this event possible. We can’t wait to see you there.
